Enroll and earn $75+ from CenterPoint Energy's Smart Cycle program

If you are a CenterPoint Energy residential electric customer with a qualifying Wifi-connected thermostat, you can earn a $75 one-time bill credit for enrolling in the Smart Cycle program. Plus, you will receive an additional $5 bill credit per device during the months of June through September for staying active in the program.

CenterPoint Energy will automatically adjust the temperature on the enrolled thermostat in your home by no more than four degrees for no more than four hours when it detects a high energy-demand event. There will be a maximum of 15 adjustments and these will occur on non-holiday weekdays. By participating in events, you may help reduce stress on the electric grid. You can opt out of peak energy event adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
